Surgeon’s Perspective
Dr. Cemil Işık – Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon

A Sincere Message from Our Surgeon to You
Greetings from Istanbul, often called the aesthetic capital of the world.
I am Dr. Cemil Işık, an Assistant Professor at Nişantaşı University Faculty of Medicine and a double board-certified plastic surgeon, holding both the Turkish and European Boards in Plastic Surgery. I provide aesthetic surgery care to many patients from Turkey and around the world. What I would like you to keep in mind is this: together we will first assess whether you are truly a suitable candidate for aesthetic surgery. Sometimes the right decision is not to have an operation.
My approach to each patient is built on three main principles:
Safety
Every procedure is first evaluated within a strict medical safety framework. The patient’s medical history, existing conditions, medications, and lifestyle are all critical factors in decision-making. No aesthetic goal can be placed above basic patient safety.Realistic and natural results
I do not plan surgery based on photo filters or idealised social media images, but on the patient’s own anatomy and tissue quality. The aim is to achieve results that are in harmony with the patient’s facial and body proportions, and that do not look obviously “operated” in everyday life.Clear communication and transparency
I consider it essential to explain not only what surgery can achieve, but also its limitations and potential risks in clear language. Patients should understand the process, feel free to ask questions, and make an informed decision based on accurate information, rather than relying on promises.
The purpose of this website is to provide reliable, up-to-date medical information about the procedures we plan, and to outline the entire journey from preoperative assessment to recovery and follow-up.
If you are considering a change for yourself, I advise you to first obtain detailed information, then clarify your own expectations and priorities, and only afterwards decide whether surgery is the right step for you.
